ROBE CARES IN-HOME CARE SERVICES

We are a not-for-profit community organisation that provides in-home care services to residents in Robe and the surrounding areas.

About Us

Your home care journey starts here.

The Australian Government’s home care funding program helps older Australians live safely and independently in their own homes.

Robe Cares is a not-for-profit community organisation delivering home care services in Robe and it’s surrounding areas. We employ locals and work with local businesses to provide high-quality supports – whether you live in town or on surrounding rural properties.

As your care coordinators, we have partnered with Trilogy Care, a registered aged care provider, to host your home care funding. Our local team is dedicated to making home care supports accessible, personal and reliable

Why Robe Cares?

Remain healthy, independent, and connected.

We manage the parts of your home care funding that can be challenging, including:

  • Finding and engaging the right support workers
  • Scheduling care hours that suit you
  • Tracking and managing your budget

We work with you and the local workforce to meet your needs. Once you choose your preferred support worker, we complete all compliance checks, including ABN, insurance and required licences. With Trilogy Care as your approved provider, you can expect more flexibility, value for money and a higher standard of care than traditional service models.

What we do

Our Services

SAH Onboarding

We will assist you in every step in applying for a Support at Home Package, from preparing for your ACAT assessment to onboarding with Trilogy Care as the HCP provider.

Find Support Workers

We will assist you in finding care workers and support workers that help you live safe, independent and connected to the community.

SAH Management

Have your support team managed by us, as well as any incidents or requests. Stay in control and remain independent while receiving support services.

Providing Remote Community Care

In-home care is hard to come by in our region. There is a lack of choice in providers and care services who do not live within the community and charge significant costs for travel, and to service our communities.

These high charges result in less visits from care workers, and inadequate support to properly care the seniors in South Australia. In many cases, our seniors have lived their entire lives on their property and want to remain living the way they know how.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you start with aged care?

All aged care services in Australia are coordinated through My Aged Care, your starting point for accessing Australian Government funded aged care programs and services.

Am I eligible for a Home Care Package?

To satisfy the requirements of a Support at Home Package, you must be ‘an older person who needs coordinated services to help them stay at home’. The eligibility requirements state you must be over 65 years of age or 50 years of age for an Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander heritage.

What is an ACAT Assessment

The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will assess your health, lifestyle and living situation, from this information they grant packages to consumers on four different levels of care:

Level 1: $10,697
Level 2: $15,981
Level 3: $21,919
Level 4: $29,545

Level 5: $39,535
Level 6: $47,957
Level 7: $58,122
Level 8: $77,709

What services are available with a Home Care Package

There are various services you are able to receive on a Support at Home Package (SAH). SAH funds can be used for home care services which assist you in remaining healthy, safe, independent, and connected to the community. Services that are specifically excluded by the Australian Government from being covered with SAH funds are excluded because they do not meet the immediate care needs of consumers.
